Ideal for installation, repair and maintenance engineers of non-fire rated doorsets. It may be of interest to office staff, product managers or those with responsibility for engineers, who wish to increase their knowledge of the subject matter.
This might also be of particular interest to facilities management, local authorities and housing associations.
The course comprises six units and provides an understanding of the legislation, standards and regulations affecting the supply, installation, repair, or maintenance of a security and emergency exit doorsets (non-fire). It also explains the installation process and outlines the limitations for modifications on certain types of doorsets.
Learners complete a workbook throughout the day to use as the supporting documentation.
Additional information
Please note: it is assumed that anyone attending either course will already have a working knowledge of the installation process. This course doesn’t cover the actual installation of doorsets.
