What is your role at BRE Academy, and how do you support our learners or clients?

I am the Principal Training Manager. I support the trainers to develop and deliver our courses and make sure that our learners get good quality and relevant training that helps them to make a difference in the built environment. I also manage our qualifications, so help learners to achieve their formal qualifications.

Which areas of training or services do you most commonly support?

I support our full range of training, making sure that we meet the needs of our customers and the challenges of the built environment.

What do you think makes BRE Academy training different?

Our training is written and delivered by experts. We have access to a wide range of facilities and subject experts that makes sure our training programmes are relevant and make a positive difference.

What advice would you give to organisations or individuals looking to upskill?

Look at what your end goal is, what you need to achieve and then look at the ways you can achieve this by training and supporting your team as they learn and grow.

Where is your favourite place any why?

I like being in my back garden. It’s peaceful and I can spend hours getting connected with nature, whether that be working or relaxing on a reclining chair! I also love being beside the sea – I love the feeling, sounds and smells from the sea, from it being calm on a summer’s day to it being wild on a stormy day.

What do you love about your role at BRE Academy?

I get to meet so many interesting people and I feel that we, as a team, are making a genuine positive difference.
