Graham Brogden – Chair of the Property Flood Resilience Action Group and Head of Technical Claims at Aviva:
“I am delighted to see that the BRE have developed this training course in conjunction with RICS. One of the outputs of the resilience group is to raise standards for flood resilience, this goes from surveying through to products and the repairs of properties that have suffered a flood. This training course is addressing the very start of that process, ensuring team of independent surveyors are available and qualified to carry out a full and appropriate survey, ensuring the property is prepared for future flood events and property owners can feel assured that a professional assessment has been made.”
