The excitement at BRE Academy is buzzing, having just won a CIBSE Building Performance Training Award for the BREEAM Associate online training course.
The course helps proactive sustainability teams work well with BREEAM (the World’s leading sustainability assessment method for master planning projects, infrastructure and buildings).
The Award is given for a programme that demonstrates how a training innovation, initiative, or programme that has had a significant effect upon staff skills and development, resulting in a positive impact on the performance of buildings through design, construction, commissioning or operation.
There’s a great blog about the win on BRE Buzz, BRE Academy Walks Off with CIBSE Training Award. And the full cast of winners can be seen here: http://www.cibse.org/building-performance-awards/2017-winners.
The Academy previously won a CIBSE Award in 2014, for its BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) Classroom training.
Whilst it would have been lovely to take customers, members and partners to the event, this wasn’t possible (BRE Academy has trained over four thousand people online alone since last July), but the photographs will offer a sense of the occasion.
